Pets Now Becoming Most Important Wedding Guest

Are you getting married and thinking about having your pet at your wedding? You are not alone. It seems that pets are now becoming the most important wedding guest. Leconfield Wines and I Do Paws let Pet Problems Solved know…

Pets Now Becoming Most Important Wedding Guest

Leconfield Wines, located in McLaren Vale and Coonawarra regions of South Australia, is one of Australia’s oldest family-owned wineries and is well known for its wines and also its events. They are now expanding their wedding venue offerings with services to accommodate pets. This is due to demand from pet owners, even those with goldfish!!
Many people now want to include their pets in their wedding, with some opting to include their pets in the bridal party. Some even ask their guests to bring along their pets. Of course, with this comes the need for pet-sitting services such as those provided by I DO PAWS.
What could be nicer than having your wedding at a winery and having your best friend along with you?
According to Leconfield Wines owner Dr Richard Hamilton, people are looking for bespoke, individually curated weddings. And pet-friendly ones!

Couples want to be able to involve their pets in the bridal party as either bridesmaids,  groomsmen, or even as the best man. One bride even wanted her fishbowl placed on the head table. Another asked if a table could be set up specifically for her frilly neck lizard.

Snakes have yet to be part of the Leconfield Wines wedding experience but Pet Problems Solved are predicting that it’s only a matter of time!

Leconfield Wines have the venue but organising your pet’s role in the wedding can be stressful. This is where I DO PAWS come in. Founder of I DO PAWS, Emily Tromans, an experienced veterinary nurse and dog trainer, assists couples to include their pets in their wedding ceremony and to provide pet sitting services for weddings.

I DO PAWS help organise your pet’s role as ring bearer, their seat at the wedding, their outfits and, if you want poo bags with an image of the bride and groom on them, they do this too!

Most things go well with wine and it looks like we can now add wedding pets to the list.
