Author Bio: Dr David Loneragan

David grew up and still lives locally and has worked in upper North Shore Vet called Gordon Vet since 1985. His love of animals and interest in all things veterinary started when he was a young boy spending time with his own pets and working on a country farm. David’s post-graduate studies have been in the fields of medical problems of dogs and cats and diagnostic ultrasound and radiology. In addition, he is interested in dermatology, cardiology and ophthalmology.

  1. we took in a neglected cat and she has arthritis very bad but beautiful temperament. I have been treating her with homeopathic arnica and moringa oil which helps but would love to try her on any rosehip supplements. Do you have any samples please which I could try her on as the local vet has suggested removing her left hip which I feel is a bad idea as the arthritis is also in her back. She is so adorable and when we took her in her health was so bad that charity would have put her to sleep. We spent £1,000 to have her rotten teeth removed but I don’t want hip removed. Grateful for any help
